For Adults:
oral
Skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory infections Adults: As immediate-release tablet, capsule, or suspension: 500 mg daily for 3 days. Alternatively, take a single dose of 500 mg on day 1, followed by 250 mg per day on days 2-5.
community acquired pneumonia Adults: as immediate-release tablet, capsule, or suspension: 500 mg on day 1, then 250 mg once daily on days 2-5. As extended-release suspension: 2 g as a single dose.
