<p> Dexpanthenol is the alcohol analog of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). After administration, it is rapidly converted into pantothenic acid in the body, which is a component of coenzyme A (CoA), essential in cellular metabolism and energy production. It promotes epithelialization and wound healing. </p>
