Indication
Indicated for hyperkeratotic conditions such as dry, rough skin; xerosis; ichthyosis; skin cracks and fissures; dermatitis; eczema; psoriasis; keratoses; and calluses
Contra indication
Individuals who have hypersensitivity to any of its components.
Side Effect
May produce local irritations (including erythema, burning or pruritus) and oedema when applied to sensitive, moist or fissured skin.

Mode of Action
Applied topically, urea promotes hydration of keratin and mild keratolysis in dry skin. It increases water uptake by the stratum corneum and has an antipruritic effect.
