Fluticasone Furoate is a synthetic, trifluorinated corticosteroid that provides anti-inflammatory activity. It binds to glucocorticoid receptor and inhibits the migration of inflammatory mediator & cells (histamine, leukotrienes, mast cells, eosinophils etc)
May lead to increased plasma concentrations of fluticasone when used with CYP4503A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir.
