How to use OXACIN 0.3%

Proper application is crucial for the efficacy and safety of OXACIN 0.3%. Always follow your doctor’s instructions. General usage guidelines include:

• Shake the bottle gently if advised by your pharmacist.
• Pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket.

• Other eye medications: If using multiple eye products, separate each application by 5–10 minutes to prevent dilution or interactions.
• Systemic quinolones: Avoid using oral or IV quinolones concurrently unless prescribed, to prevent cumulative side effects.

Use only as prescribed. Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration, and do not skip doses. Complete the entire treatment course even if symptoms resolve early to prevent recurrence or antibiotic resistance.

Possible side effects of OXACIN 0.3%

Most side effects of OXACIN 0.3% are mild and transient. However, if you experience any concerning symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.
