What is Butafyl?
Butenafin is an antifungal that is used topically. It inhibits the production of ergosterol, which is an essential component of the cell membrane of fungi. Thus, it is used in the treatment of various fungal infections. Butenafin is a synthetic benzylamine derivative similar to an allylamine.
